Kevy Window Coverings has been fitting homes across the GTA with zebra blinds, roller & Roman shades, drapery, and sheer curtains since 2014. We're based in Markham, and we're a manufacturer, not a reseller: every order is measured, fabricated, and installed by our own team, start to finish.
Started with one van and a measuring tape.
Kevy Window Coverings started the way most good trades businesses do: with more requests from friends and neighbours than any one person could keep up with as a side project. Since 2014, that's grown into a small team covering the Greater Toronto Area, but the approach hasn't changed: one team measures, fabricates, and installs every order, so nothing gets lost between the sales visit and the final product.
Every zebra blind, shade, and drapery panel is cut, sewn, and assembled in our own Markham workshop, not drop-shipped from a supplier's catalog. We source fabric and hardware directly, which means faster lead times and fewer surprises than the big-box order desk.

Every quote starts with an in-home visit. We don't sell off a floor plan or a phone call. We measure every opening ourselves.
We build what we install
No subcontracted install crews, and nothing is drop-shipped from a supplier. Every panel and shade is fabricated in our own workshop, and the person who measures your windows is accountable for how the finished product looks.

What does "factory direct" mean for window coverings?
It means the company that measures and sells you your blinds or drapery is the same company that builds them, with no distributor, wholesaler, or reseller marking up the price in between.
How is Kevy different from a reseller?
Most window covering storefronts are resellers: they take your order and send it to a separate manufacturer to build. We fabricate every zebra blind, shade, and drapery panel in our own Markham workshop, so there's no reseller margin stacked on top and no relay between you, a sales rep, and a factory you'll never talk to.
Does factory direct cost less?
Cutting out a distributor and a showroom markup generally means better pricing than paying for the same materials plus someone else's margin on top. We give you a written quote up front so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
Is factory direct slower because it's custom?
It's usually faster, not slower. Reseller orders route through a third-party factory's production queue on top of shipping time. Since we build in-house, your order moves straight from your in-home measurement to our workshop.
